Itinerary of Chardham Yatra

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar (Delhi to Haridwar) 

Your Chardham Yatra begins with your arrival in Haridwar, a holy city in the Himalayas’ foothills. You can spend the day exploring the city's temples and bazaars. And later take a rest in your hotel room and get ready for the real tour that is going to begin the next day. 

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot

On day 2, you will proceed towards Barkot, a small town which is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. On the way, you can visit Kempty Falls, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions. You can witness amazing beauty there with rich history and beautiful old architecture. 

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri 

On day 3, you will visit Janki Chatti and then you will proceed the trek to Yamunotri, which is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters above sea level. After seeking the blessings of the goddess Yamuna which is one of the major aims of this tour, you will trek back to Janki Chatti and then drive back to Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi

On day 4, your targeted destination is Uttarkashi, which is a very beautiful town situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, a river that will purify your soul. Some of the places that you can visit there include Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Shakti Temple.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri 

On day 5, we will aim to visit Gangotri, which is situated at an altitude of 3,048 meters above sea level. After seeking the blessings of the goddess Ganga as River Ganga is dedicated to Goddess Ganga, you will head back to Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

On day 6, you will be visiting Guptkashi, a small town situated on the banks of the Mandakini River. You can also witness one of the largest Hydroelectric projects in India which is popularly known as Tehri Dam. then you are going to spend the night at this beautiful destination. 

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

On day 7, Gaurikund is the place that you are going to head and then later the group is going to trek to Kedarnath, which is situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters above sea level. After seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva, we must tell you Kedarnath is one of the most visited destinations in India.  And later you can explore the surrounding areas.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

On day 8, the group will trek back to Gaurikund and then head back to Guptkashi.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath

On day 9, Badrinath the place of Lord Vishnu is where you are going to head, which is situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters above sea level. You can visit the Badrinath Temple, and collect blessings from the temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is one of the pilgrimage sites of the Chardham Tour. 

Day 10: Badrinath to Haridwar

On day 10, your tour comes to an end and then then the group will drive back to Haridwar.
